Our Team.

Paul Quinn

Paul Quinn, Managing Director of Quinntessential, is the company's principal consultant. Paul has more than ten years experience in professional marketing - eight of which have been specifically within the recruitment industry.

Before launching Quinntessential in January 2002, Paul worked until September 2001 as Group Marketing Manager at Candle Australia Ltd. In this role Paul worked on the Candle IT&T Recruitment, Freeman Adams, Alliance Recruitment and Candle Executive brands, and was instrumental in growing the Candle IT&T Recruitment brand to be voted Australia's most recognised IT recruitment brand. Prior to this Paul held the position of Marketing Manager at prominent IT recruiter AmBit Technology.

A degree-qualified Commerce graduate with a double major in Marketing and Management, Paul is adept in project managing a wide range of marketing solutions for large ASX-listed recruiters through to small boutique agencies.

Paul is a regular contributor to 'Recruitment Extra' magazine on recruitment marketing issues, and is also an award-winning public speaker, having achieved 'Competent Toastmaster' status after completing the Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Program in 2004 and winning numerous local speech competitions.

Paul's experience in project managing recruitment marketing initiatives spans a range of projects, including:

Website development (having developed and/or project managed over 15 different recruitment websites)

Denise Quinn

Denise Quinn joined Quinntessential Marketing Consulting as a Director in July 2002 from a senior communications role with a major Australian telecommunications company.

Denise is an experienced Marketing and Communications professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over eight years in industries as diverse as chemicals, food, and IT&T.

Prior to joining Quinntessential, Denise's career included a consulting role in the IT&T industry where she was responsible for project management of the communications effort for several large IT projects. Denise has also had extensive experience in HRMIS tools, working for a NZ-based recruitment agency to establish their internal HR systems.

Denise's focus in corporate communications for the recruitment industry supports the need for recruitment agencies to identify, manage and promote a strong and relevant point of difference.

Denise has a Bachelor of Management Studies degree in Human Resource Management and Marketing (Honours) from Waikato University, NZ.

Bronwyn Brown -
Business Development Manager


Bronwyn Brown joined Quinntessential in December 2006 as Business Development Manager. Bronwyn has over 7 years of sales experience in business-to-business sales in the corporate sector. Bronwyn also has extensive account management, strategic planning and human resource management experience.

Bronwyn has a consultative approach to sales and a genuine interest and desire to understand her customer’s business needs, and provide real solutions to enable those customers to achieve their desired outcomes.

Prior to joining Quinntessential Bronwyn had spent 5 years building her own successful business, focused on helping companies take new software products to market.

Bronwyn brings to the Quinntessential team a proven track record of achieving goals without compromising ethics. Her role within Quinntessential focuses on sales of Quinntessential key products and services which include the PeoplePulse online survey tool and Cloud 9 Rewards – Quinntessential’s proprietary re-brandable reward and recognition program.

Not always known for her modesty, Bronwyn describes herself as “fabulous and funny, gorgeous, witty, caring, outrageously successful” ... but only AFTER the consumption of her first café latte in the morning.

Natalie McGarvey -
Business Development Manager


Natalie McGarvey joined Quinntessential in August 2007 as a Business Development Manager. Natalie has over 5 years of sales experience in business-to-business sales in the corporate sector. Natalie also has experience in the property and exhibition industries.

Prior to joining Quinntessential Natalie lived in France, Italy, Japan and the UK over a 7 year period. She embarked on her sales career in Japan working for a software development company for a year before jet setting to London where she started off in an exhibition company for a year and then moved on to a property development company for 3 years. One of Natalie’s main claims to fame is setting up a new division of a Pls in the UK generating incremental and record revenue growth.

Natalie describes herself as ‘scintillating, serious yet a joker, open-minded, interested yet interesting, diligent and driven’ ... right from the moment she wakes in the morning!

Melissa Domingo

Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator


Melissa Domingo joined the Quinntessential Marketing team in April 2008. Melissa has over 5 years experience within the Offline and Online Marketing arena.

Prior to joining Quinntessential Marketing, Melissa spent 4½ years within a financial institution before entering the media industry as Digital Coordinator for popular subscription television channels such as ARENA TV, [V], MAX and CMC. Her experience has seen her responsible for the project management of a number of large digital assignments. As such Melissa is adept at executing projects smoothly, on budget, and on time!

Melissa's role with Quinntessential focuses on the survey and reward program implementation process, co-ordination of all survey and reward program development, client training and support. Melissa is also responsible for the build and implementation of Quinntessential's new websites and other online initiatives to support the organisation's growing market.

Melissa describes herself as focused, motivated, determined, yet fun. In her spare time she loves spending time with her children, being with family and friends and would love to one day travel the world with her boys and see a Manchester United match at Old Trafford!

Julia Tootill

Client Relationship Manager

Julia joined Quinntessential Marketing in July 2009 as a Client Relationship Manager; she brings with her a good understanding of the Recruitment Industry having worked within this sector as both a permanent & temporary consultant. Prior to moving to Sydney, Julia lived and worked in London and it was here that she gained her project coordination, training, sales and account management skills.

Working within the Property & Recruitment Industries has ensured that Julia has honed her communication skills, which she believes are vital in order to build good working relationships. Julia’s role with Quintessential is to focus on existing People Pulse clients’, ensuring that they are well trained, kept up to date with any changes, looked after and listened to… In short, satisfied that they have achieved what they set out to do! Julia comes to us with a BA Hons Degree in Geography from Newcastle University (UK) which had a strong emphasis on quantifying data and reports.

Julia is highly personable, friendly and motivated; she describes herself as chatty, yet determined! In her spare time, she enjoys catching up with friends and trying new experiences – be it sports, food, wine or travel!

Sarah Bougadakis

Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator

Sarah Bougadakis joined the Quinntessential Team as Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator in November 2008, coming back to Australian shores after travelling through the UK and Europe. Sarah has over 4 years experience working in Marketing, client relations and customer service.

Sarah's role with Quinntessential focuses on managing the delivery of survey projects and coordinating client product training and support. Sarah is also responsible for the development and implementation of various online marketing projects to support the growth of the Quinntessential business.

Sarah describes herself as a dazzling and determined thrill-seeker, with a passion for fashion, travel, dance, design, good food and great company.

This June, she completes her Bachelor of Communication in Marketing and plans to go on to a Master's degree in Graphic Design.

Alex Martinez

Business Development Manager


Alex joined Quinntessential in early 2009 as a Business Development Manager. Alex has 10 years’ experience in business-to-business sales and account management across the recruitment, IT and advertising industries. Prior to joining Quinntessential Alex was a full-time student at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney, where he graduated with an MBA degree.

Alex is determined, enterprising, focused and diligent - all characteristics that help ensure his clients achieve their goals when working in partnership with Quinntessential.

Where's Sogol Samadi?



Many Quinntessential clients have come to know and love dealing with Sogol over the past few years. Sogol originally joined Quinntessential in November 2005 in a Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator role and after nearly two years she headed to the UK on a working holiday. In November 2008 she returned from the UK and promptly re-joined Quinntessential for a six month contract before heading off to the UK again in 2009 (couldn't keep away from those English summers!). We're hoping she joins us for a 3rd stint at Quinntessential some day ... so watch this space!
